When many users are building a checkweighing control system, the checkweighing controller often needs to be connected to a host computer or a computer in order to send the key parameters of the dynamic checkweigher to the central control display device. But often due to various reasons, it is easy to block communication and garbled communication data when setting up the system for the first time. Shanghai Shigan provides you with the following three methods to help you use the dynamic checkweigher machine in the assembly line better and faster.
1. Check whether the line connection is reliable and whether the wiring is correct.
The checkweighing controller uses RS232/RS485 serial port to connect with other equipment. First, we carefully check whether the communication line wiring is correct and whether there is an open circuit or short circuit, so as to determine whether there is a hardware connection problem in the communication line.
2. Check whether the communication parameters are correct.
The checkweighing controller adopts a serial communication method based on MODBUS RTU. The byte format is 1 start bit, 8 data bits, and 1 stop bit. The check method is no check.
The baud rate can be selected as 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200 according to the back-end equipment (note that the baud rate is equal to the connected host computer, etc.)
3. Check whether the serial port command is correct.
The above connection and settings are okay. Generally, the data connection can be guaranteed. In actual operation, we often only get some garbled codes. This requires reading the product manual and carefully checking the communication protocol of the checkweighing controller. Then write the correct command read and write method according to the communication protocol, then the instrument can communicate with other devices normally.
